This project was an exciting challenge that started as a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom 1921 craftsman bungalow and grew into a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom home with an additional bonus room upstairs. The biggest hurdle we had when designing the addition to this home was how to make a modern construction addition meld seamlessly with the 1921 portion of the house. The original upstairs bedroom was converted into two bonus spaces, while the original staircase was converted into a half bathroom downstairs and a closet upstairs. We used original features wherever we could, to include restoring the original backdoor of the home and converting it to the new pantry door.
